Book a consultationA buccal facial combines lymphatic drainage, sculptural facial massage, and a 10–15 minute intra-oral massage performed from inside the mouth. It helps release facial tension, reduce the look of puffiness, and create a more defined, refreshed appearance.
Choose the 60-minute treatment if you mainly want sculpting, de-puffing, and tension release. The 75-minute option adds a hydrating plumping mask, while the 90-minute treatment includes more advanced skincare. For the most comprehensive lifting treatment, choose the 110-minute Buccal Facial with Microcurrent Lift. If you're still unsure, book a complimentary consultation and we'll help you decide.
It can be especially helpful if your face and jaw feel tense from everyday muscle tension, clenching, or stress. The intra-oral portion allows us to work with facial muscles that are difficult to reach externally. Buccal massage is a wellness and aesthetic treatment, however, and is not a substitute for medical or dental treatment for TMJ disorders or persistent jaw pain.
It should feel deep and active, but not painfully aggressive. Some areas may feel more sensitive or tight than others, particularly around the jaw and mouth. Your esthetician adjusts the pressure throughout the treatment based on your comfort and facial tension.
Yes, but you need to allow enough healing time. Please wait at least 2 weeks after Botox, 6 weeks after facial fillers, and 2 weeks after lip filler. After dental implants, wait 4 months before buccal massage. Thread lifts require a 6-month wait, and facial surgery requires significantly longer recovery time. Microneedling generally requires 2–3 weeks. Please review our full contraindications before booking if you've recently had any procedure.
Our 60- and 75-minute Buccal Facials are generally suitable after the first trimester. During the first trimester, please check with your doctor before booking. Microcurrent treatments are not suitable during pregnancy. Buccal treatments should also be avoided or modified in certain situations, including active illness or infection, current or recent Accutane use, significant active acne, recent procedures, or lymph node removal when lymphatic drainage is involved. The 90-minute Deep Skincare treatment has additional skin-related contraindications, including a compromised skin barrier and recent use of retinoids or exfoliating acids. Please review the full contraindications list before your appointment.
